This is the "Viewpoint Story". The HBN News editors select a story for the Viewpoint section that will help show the different ways a current event or news item can be portrayed to the news consumer. It is our "compare and contrast" news item.

The "Viewpoint Story" is the same on each of the various perspective pages, but the source of the story is based on the political perspective of the page. So, while both the "left" and the "right" perspectives will have the same issue as their "Viewpoint Story" the "right" version will come from a conservative news outlet, while the "Viewpoint Story" on the "left" perspective will come from a liberal one.

Notice also how things such as headlines used, photo selection, photo captioning and other elements all are used to frame the story a particular way.
